DIY Dry Shampoo!

So reducing toxic load is a thing... and its what I have been doing the last two years... slowly reducing toxins and trading out chemical ridden products for DIY's and or green products... It has seemed overwhelming but has been oh so necessary for these adrenals and thyroid I have... Let me tell you that these tiny organs do HUGE things and have been screaming at me for a while and I finally started listening.
So lets chat how you can make your own Dry Shampoo that is super easy, affordable and great for your hair and scalp!!!

Ingredients:
For Light Hair:
1/4 cup of arrow root powder
3-4 drops of Lavender
3~4 drops of Rosemary
3~4 drops of Melaleuca
glass jar with lid and or shaker top
metal stir stick or metal straw.
Get a cheap powder brush.

For Dark Hair: 2 tablespoons of Arrow Root powder
2 tablespoons of Cocoa powder
3~4 drops of Lavender
3~4 drops of Rosemary
3~4 drops of Melaleuca
glass jar with lid and shaker top
metal stir stick or straw.

Directions:Add the arrow root powder to the jar and then add your essential oils and stir them together... Get your powder brush and dab the powder in your roots... and layered in..
If you have dark hair you can add your arrow root powder and cocoa powder to a food processor to pulse together and thoroughly mix. If you have darker hair add more cocoa powder than arrow root.. Add your essential oils and there you go.. apply away.. Other oils that are great too are peppermint and Cedarwood.  These oils all promote hair growth and a healthy scalp.

Washing your hair less will train it to not produce so much oil and not get so dried out and prevent damage and braking.. especially if you have dyed or highlighted hair.. I have a lot of hair but its fine and highlighted so it gets dried out and damaged the more often I wash it.

Enjoy a fun DIY!!!
